But the inspiration goes beyond the familiar pumpkin spice tradition. At the heart of our Pumpkin & Honey collection is pumpkin seed oil, a nourishing botanical ingredient that brings a little piece of the pumpkin harvest into our skincare story.

From Jack-o'-Lanterns to Pumpkin Seed Oil

There's something nostalgic about choosing the perfect pumpkin and bringing it home. Maybe it's destined to become a smiling Jack-o'-lantern, a homemade pumpkin pie, or simply a beautiful reminder that autumn has arrived. While we often think about the bright orange flesh of the pumpkin, there's another part of this autumn favorite that deserves attention: the seeds.For our Pumpkin & Honey Lotion and skincare products, we incorporate pumpkin seed oil into the formulation. We love it as part of our autumn-inspired collection because it helps leave skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized.Pumpkin seed oil is derived from the seeds of the Styrian pumpkin, traditionally grown in southeastern Austria. These pumpkins have yellow-green skin and yellow-orange flesh, while their seeds are naturally dark green and shell-free. The seeds contain a variety of vitamins and minerals, and pumpkin seed oil has long been valued as a rich botanical oil. To produce the oil, pumpkin seeds are removed, washed, dried, and roasted before being pressed to extract the deep green oil. Approximately 2.5 kilograms of pumpkin seeds are needed to produce one liter of pumpkin seed oil, making this distinctive ingredient an especially interesting part of the story behind our collection.
